Jason Byers is an Operations Executive with over 15 years of experience in the Insurance Industry. He comes to Alliance with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from the University of Florida, a Masters in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Certificate in Engineering Management from Drexel University.

Jason comes to the Alliance team with over 10 years of experience in the Property & Casualty market as the President of CaptiveOne, a Captive Insurance Company advisor and manager. Prior to CaptiveOne, Jason was the Director of Product Development for the iCan Benefit Group in the Health and Life market. Jason also brings 2 years of experience at Lockheed Martin in the Operations and Leadership Development Program, where he obtained his Green Belt Certificate in Lean Six Sigma.

Jason has extensive experience forming and managing captive insurance companies in multiple domiciles including managing the operations, client services, actuarial, underwriting and administrative teams. As the President of the company, Jason is also responsible for handling most of the relations with the regulators as well as ensuring all state regulatory and federal deadlines are met. With a background in engineering and operations and experience with project and program management, Jason brings strong analytical and process improvement skills to Alliance in addition to his vast knowledge of the market.

In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, swimming, travelling, scuba diving, and cooking.
